Lolo Zouaï is rounding out an incredible year with the release of her new album, PLAYGIRL, out now via Keep It On The Lolo / RCA Records. Lolo’s unique blend of y2k-esque RnB, hyphy-club-pop and West Coast hip-hop creates the perfect backdrop for the PLAYGIRL lifestyle. On the new album Zouaï explains: “This whole album is about not boxing myself into any one genre or sound,” she says. “Once I had that revelation – that my album could be like my life itself – it unlocked an entirely new outlook on making music for me.”

Songs like “Tamagotchi (intermission)” and“Free Trial” embrace pl4yg1rl’s upbeat side while “Don’t Buy Me Flowers” and “VHS” takes an intimate look into dreamgirl’s psyche and “Crazy Sexy Dream Girl” inspires partygirl’s unabashed autonomy – all of which come together forming an emotionally vast and sonically unique project.
PLAYGIRL is the second studio album from Lolo Zouaï and features previously released singles “Blur”, “Give Me A Kiss”,and “pl4yg1rl” – the latter she calls “a flip on one of my favorite Too $hort songs, I call it hyphy-pop”. This new album followsher 2019 debut, High Highs to Low Lows that racked up over 250M streams worldwide and saw press love from Vogue, Pitchfork, Office, DAZED, Paper, MTV, i-D, Grammy.com and more. Last year, her musical success was highlighted as she boasted a nomination alongside Lil Nas X, Saweetie, and more for Best International Pop Video at the 2021 UK MVA’sfor the official music video of her single “Galipette.” Zouaï is a pop phenom with many facets and shows no signs of slowing down with PLAYGIRL.
