SUPPORTING ED SHEERAN ON HIS ‘MATHEMATICS’ TOUR THIS SUMMER
May 3, 2023 – Following the release of her latest single, “live more & love more,” breakout South London artist Cat Burns announces her forthcoming ‘Burns in the USA (and Canada xo)’ North American tour.
Her first-ever run of performances in the US and Canada, this summer sees Cat making headlining stops in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Toronto, San Francisco, and more, in addition to performances at Governors Ball in New York and BLEACHED Festival in San Diego. Cat will also be reuniting with Ed Sheeran for select dates of his North American run of his Mathematics Global Tour, following her stint supporting the global superstar on the European leg last year.
At just 22 years old, Cat’s career trajectory has gone from strength to strength. The biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 went viral for her smash hits “people pleaser” and “go,” the latter of which went double platinum in the UK and hit #2 on the Official Singles chart, remaining in the Top 10 for 17 weeks total. Being selected as Spotify’s Global RADAR artist, Cat was also featured on the BBC Sound Poll 2023 shortlist, as well as earning three BRIT Award nominations this year, including a coveted BRITs Rising Star nod – making her the most nominated solo female artist at this year’s ceremony.
