Los Angeles, California – October 11, 2024 – Two-time Latin GRAMMY nominated Brazilian music superstar ALOK, popularly known for chart-topping collaborations with John Legend, Ellie Goulding, Ava Max, and Bebe Rexha, and Japanese-American DJ and producer Gryffin, most for hit songs “Feel Good” with Illenium and Daya and “Tie Me Down” with Elley Duhé, have released their new single, “Never Letting Go” featuring rising artist Julia Church known for her unique blend of folk and electronic sounds. The uplifting track combines ALOK and Gryffin’s dance pop production with Julia Church’s passionate vocals all while featuring a familiar sample: an interpolation of Enya’s iconic “Boadicea.” Lyrics such as “Out of the dark, from the edge, no I’m never letting go again” echo as the chorus begins, paired with an infectious beat and addictive rhythm. “Never Letting Go” is released ahead of several shows the superstar duo will be doing across the country including Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on October 18th, at the The Armory in Minneapolis on October 19th, and Forest Hills Stadium in New York on October 26th.
“Never Letting Go” comes following ALOK’s first two nominations for the 2024 Latin GRAMMY Music Awards in the new ‘Best Latin Electronic Music Performance’ category for his songs, “Pedju Kunumigwe” with Guarani Nhandewa from his The Future Is Ancestral project, and “Drum Machine” with masked dance music artist DJ Pickle. He was also voted the number 1 Latin American DJ in the world by DJ Mag and number 3 in the world by Spin Genie. He’s released smash singles like “Summer’s Back” with British GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Jess Glynne, which topped the European Airplay charts, and “Deep In Your Love” with multi-platinum hitmaker Bebe Rexha.
