Known for his distinctive rap/rock fusion, Kenny Mason has carved out a niche in the music scene, that continues to evolve with each project. In 2023, Kenny started dropping his six-track and three-track EPs – 6 and 3 – which expanded on Kenny’s out-of-the-box, genre-blending style. The 3 and 6 EPs area part of an 18-track unique rollout leading up to his album 9. Having released EPs3 and 6, which provided three and six tracks respectively; fans got a fresh batch of nine new songs on the album (two being “JUMPIN IN” and “US”). The album 9, released in March of this year, is a sonic tapestry that seamlessly weaves together rap’s raw energy and rock’s rebellious spirit. 9 highlights Kenny’s versatility and blending of various genres to create something unique, but still staying true to his ATL roots. After dropping 9, Kenny Mason went on his 23-date Route 9 tour that stopped in cities including New York, Los Angeles and more.

ABOUT KENNY MASON
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kenny Mason first broke out in the rap space in 2019 with his buzzing single “Hit,” which catapulted him from Atlanta’s underground DIY scene to the national spotlight. As Kenny continued to release more music, he became increasingly known for his versatility and unique sound. His bars and genre-bending abilities that incorporate elements of 90’s punk, grunge, hip-hop and more, sets him apart from the rest. Kenny Mason has received critical acclaim from press, being included on The FADER, Entertainment Weeklyand more in addition to features withRolling Stone, XXL, VMANand FLAUNT. His 2019 single “G.O.A.T.” was also featured in season one of HBO’s hit show, Euphoria. In 2020, Kenny released his debut album Angelic Hoodrat,followed by the alternative version Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut in 2021.
In September 2022, Kenny Mason released his mixtape RUFFS, which included the tracks from his EP PUP PACK and new songs such as “SPIN N FLIP” feat. Young Nudy and “MINUTE FOREVER.” He was also a part of the single “Stick,” a Dreamville collaboration with J. Cole, JID and Sheck Wes from the D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. Kenny was also on the festival circuit with sets at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Bonnaroo and more, in addition to making surprise appearances at 2022 Coachella on JID’s set and 2022 Governor’s Ball on J. Cole’s set. In 2023, Kenny dropped three EPs entitled 3, 6, and HIGHWAY 9. The three EPs expanded on Kenny’s out-of-the-box, genre-blending style while still keeping true to his Atlanta roots.
Most recently, Kenny Mason released his new album, 9via RCA Records. The nine-track album blends two genres—rap and rock—into something dynamic and fresh while offering fans a rich listening experience. After releasing 9, Kenny completed his 23-date Route 9 U.S. tour. Currently, Kenny is gearing up for his upcoming album set to be released soon.
