Friday, November 8, 2024 (NEW YORK, NY) – Today, multi-hyphenate hip-hop artist FERG releases his anticipated new album DAROLD, out now via RCA Records.
His first project release since 2020’s Floor Seats II, DAROLD is an intimate portrait of FERG through the many phases of his life, while paying tribute to those who helped shape him such as his mother, father and grandmother. Taken from his birth name, DAROLD delves into past, present, and future journeys of FERG, moving listeners through the triumphs and tragedies that made him who he is today and the experiences that influence where he’s headed next. The album’s featured artwork is also a self-portrait painted by FERG earlier this year.
Featuring the singles “Allure” with Future and Mike WiLL Made-It, “Thought I Was Dead,” and the latest, “French Tips” featuring Coco Jones, DAROLD sees FERG joined by a number of collaborators including Harlem legend Dapper Dan, Denzel Curry, Mary J. Blige, DD Osama, Bloody Osiris, The Alumni Ensemble of Harlem, and more.

About FERG
A founding member of Harlem’s A$AP Mob, FERG was initially the group’s main clothing designer, but after teaming with Mob member A$AP Rocky, he became one of the crew’s breakout rappers. FERG channeled his uniqueness into success, hitting the Top Ten charts with proper studio albums Trap Lord and Always Strive and Prosper. Then in 2020 his single off of Floor Seats II, “Move Ya Hips,” hit the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
But what defines FERG is his eclectic and artistic spirit. Outside of music, he can be seen acting in shows such as The Godfather of Harlem and HBO’s The Hype, on top of executive producing multiple documentaries. Due to his passion for fashion, he became one of the first male hip-hop artists to work with a luxury jeweler and has seen success in partnerships across the board. FERG is a truly unique and multifaceted artist that spans from art, film, and fashion, to sports, philanthropy, and food. With big plans for 2024, you will be seeing much more of FERG.
