Ari Abdul Shares Playful Dark Pop Track “Dreams”

3.7.2025: RCA recording artist Ari Abdul has shared her electrifying dark pop track “Dreams,” available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide. The track is Abdul’s 2nd release of 2025 and takes listeners on a playful sonic experience, departing slightly from the gut-wrenching, moody ballads she’s written over the past year. The NYC native is currently on a full US tour with Nessa Barrett, culminating in two nights at LA’s iconic Wiltern next week.

“Dreams is definitely a more playful song,” she says. “It’s about someone chasing after the idea of you rather than really wanting to get to know the person inside, and kind of rejecting them for it.”

Hailing from Brooklyn, rising artist Ari Abdul has forged her own brand of dark alternative pop. She combines the reverb-heavy swells of your favorite shoegaze artists such as The Neighborhood and Lana Del Rey, while showcasing an array of visual and stylistic influences. In 2022, she released her debut single “BABYDOLL” followed by the sped-up version “BABYDOLL (Speed).” All versions garnered viral success with over 800 million global streams. In 2023, Ari released her EP CCTV which solidified her position as an up-and-coming trailblazer in the pop music landscape, drawing in listeners with her unique sound and emotionally charged lyrics. The EP features six tracks, all expertly crafted to resonate with fans on a deeply personal level.
