[New York, NY — May 3rd, 2023] – Today, BJ The Chicago Kid, a 7X GRAMMY-nominated singer, and songwriter, makes his highly anticipated return with a brand new single titled “Forgot Your Name,” produced by the renowned Yeti Beats (Doja Cat) and released via RTW Records/RCA Records. The single is the first from BJ & Yeti’s upcoming joint project, releasing this summer.

This RTW Records project will be BJTCK’s first full-length release since his 2x GRAMMY-nominated album 1123 in 2019. Recorded at the iconic Royal Studios in Memphis, TN, BJ and Yeti tapped into the studio’s rich musical history and legacy, recording most of the album in just five days. The studio has been home to some of music’s biggest names, including Al Green, Chuck Berry, De La Soul, Ike & Tina Turner, and more!
Yeti Beats added, “This project is a dream manifested into reality for me. I had the idea of producing a record influenced by the music of my favorite soul singer, Al Green, and recording it with a live band. Traveling to Memphis to record in his studio was an immense honor for all of us.”
