SUPPORTING SAM SMITH ON THEIR ‘GLORIA’ UK & EUROPE TOUR NEXT MONTH AND WILL REUNITE WITH ED SHEERAN THIS SUMMER ON HIS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

(March 31, 2023) – Multi-BRIT-nominated, double-platinum-selling South London artist Cat Burns delivers her brand new single, “live more & love more,” out now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.
Overflowing with positive affirmations, “live more & love more” is an uplifting song filled with vibrant guitar melodies and a wonderful vocal performance from Cat. When speaking about her new single, Cat says, “it’s a very positive song about starting whatever it is you want to start and doing whatever it is you want to do in life because we only have one life, and we deserve to live it to the fullest!”
Cat’s new single follows her previous offering, “people pleaser,” which has amassed over 20 million global streams and received solid playlist support across BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Regional. She recently joined forces with Brighton rapper ArrDee for their collaboration “Home For My Heart,” which entered the Top 40 Singles Chart in the UK.
Cat’s career trajectory has gone from strength to strength. From becoming the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 and receiving several accolades, including three BRIT Award nominations, which includes a coveted BRITs Rising Star nod, inducted into BBC Sound Poll 2023 shortlist, and Spotify’s Global RADAR artist under her belt at only 22 years old, the South London singer/songwriter has the world at her feet.
Her viral smash “go,” now double platinum in the UK, peaked at #2 on the Official Singles Chart and remained in the Top 10 for 17 weeks. Cat recently gave a superb performance of her hit single at the BRIT Awards earlier this month, where she was up for three nominations (‘Song of The Year’, ‘Best Pop/R&B’ and Rising Star), earning the title of the most nominated solo female artist at this year’s ceremony.
Next month, Cat will open Sam Smith’s Gloria UK & Europe headline tour, as well as debut appearances at Glastonbury and The Governor’s Ball in New York in June before reuniting with Ed Sheeran for the North American run of his Mathematics Global Tour this summer, following her stint supporting the global superstar on the European leg last year.
