LONDON, UK (May 26, 2023) –Today, South London artist Cat Burns delivers her brand new single, “you don’t love me anymore,” out now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.
Already a firm favorite with her fans on social media and a highlight from her opening set on Sam Smith’s GLORIA Tour, “you don’t love me anymore” overflows with sincere emotion and vulnerability. A song close to Cat’s heart, “you don’t love me anymore”captures those feelings towards the end of a relationship and the heartbreak that comes with it. Accompanying the new single is a music video directed by Clyde Munroe, watch here.
Cat’s new single follows her previous offering, “live more & love more,” which has surpassed over 13 million global streams. Earlier this year, Cat dropped the gospel-tinged “people pleaser” and collaborated with ArrDee for their single, “Home For My Heart.”
Cat’s career trajectory has gone from strength to strength. Becoming the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022, she’s received several accolades and counting, including three BRIT Award nominations (‘Song of The Year,’ ‘Best Pop/R&B,’ and ‘Rising Star’), a BBC Sound Poll 2023 shortlist induction, a Spotify’s Global RADAR artist nod and recently receiving a nomination for the ‘Rising Star Award’ at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards. Her viral smash “go,” now double platinum in the UK, peaked at #2 on the Official Singles Chart and remained in the Top 10 for 17 weeks.
Currently opening the final dates of Sam Smith’s GLORIA UK & European Tour, the biggest queer show of the year, Cat will make her much-anticipated festival debuts at Glastonbury and Governors Ball in New York next month before reuniting with Ed Sheeran for the North American run of his Mathematics Global Tour this summer. Not stopping there, Cat recently announced she’s embarking on her forthcoming Burns in the USA (and Canada xo) headline tour, her first-ever run of solo shows across the pond.
