LOS ANGELES, CA (September 23, 2022) – Today, pop singer-songwriter Christian French releases his new single “evergreen,” out now via Disruptor Records/RCA Records.
The release follows a run of new singles from Christian, including “butterfly fields” and the viral hit “golden years.” His latest release, “evergreen” is a guitar-driven, echoing melody that looks back at an old relationship that still feels unfinished. “Just know you’ll always be my evergreen,” Christian sings as the song’s production swells through a rush of strings and percussion.
“I’ve never been one for things ending with someone and then pretending like they never existed. I tend to find a way to stay friends and check in on them every once in a while, but sometimes, one thing can lead to another and you find yourself thinking about them all over again, which is what led to the creation of ‘evergreen,’” says Christian French.
“Even though it was years ago, the memories stuck with me and I couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if we weren’t so young and naive. Sometimes it’s the right person at the wrong time, so all you can do is wait & see if they come back around.”
About Christian French
