LOS ANGELES, CA (July 28, 2023) – Singer-songwriter Christian French releases his latest single, “trigger warning,” out today via Disruptor Records/RCA Records. Listen HERE.
“trigger warning” is the latest in run of viral singles from Christian over the past year, following the release of “bring u down,” “lonely,” and “thank god.” The catchy pop tune with plucky guitars that describes a girl who is dangerous yet tempting.
“‘trigger warning’ was written from one of my first experiences with someone who truly felt like the opposite of me,” says Christian. “We were on completely different wavelengths, and I knew she wasn’t going to be good for me, but I couldn’t help it. I wanted to capture that feeling in a song – when you wish you had a heads up, before diving in headfirst into a toxic situation.”
Last month, Christian announced he’s hitting the road this fall on his first major headlining tour since the pandemic. Titled The Space Between Tour and spanning across 28 cities across North America, the dates see Christian performing at some of his biggest venues to date after selling out his golden years tour late last year. Kicking off on September 6 in San Francisco with stops in Austin, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, and more, culminating in Los Angeles on October 21. About Christian French
With over 325 million global streams and praise from TIME Magazine, Billboard, UPROXX, Ones To Watch, American Songwriter, and more under his belt, 26-year-old Christian French is one of today’s fastest-rising indie-pop stars. The Indiana native learned to play piano by watching YouTube and posting covers online, eventually going on to write music in college before chasing his dreams to Los Angeles. It was there in 2017, while sleeping on friends’ couches, that he penned his first single, “love ride,” which amassed over 33 million streams worldwide and set the tone for his bright future.
