[New York, NY – May 31, 2024] Today, rising UK rapper and style icon LanceyFoux releases his new single and music video, “Daylight” featuring his labelmate TeezoTouchdown and Cash Cobain out now via Human Re Sources / RCA Records – click HERE to listen. The record was produced by Cash Cobain (Drake / Ice Spice) and showcases Lancey’s melodic vocals and musical diversity, while Teezo adds his signature Rock & Boom sound to his verse. On “Daylight” the trio of artists stitches together one masterful and unique sound.
The “Daylight” music video was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Emma Drew Berson. The video depicts two women lost in the desert during the bright ‘daylight’ and they begin to feel hot and dehydrated and start to hallucinate. They hear “Daylight” start to play and they follow the music until it leads them to the water. Along their journey in the desert, viewers get to see their hallucinations. The hourglass that which appears continuously throughout the video represents time and contains the sand from the desert.

The new track was produced by Cash Cobain and finds Lancey flexing his vocals and highlighting his signature melodic range. Earlier in the year, Lancey dropped his two-pack bundle which marked his first release since signing with Human Re Sources / RCA Records – click HERE to listen. “On Ur Mind” and “Live Forever” highlight Lancey’s versatility and ability to blend various genres to create a unique sound. Along with the two-pack bundle, Lancey also revealed his “On Ur Mind” music video and “Live Forever” visualizer.

Hailing from Uganda and raised in East London, Lancey’s father first introduced him to music from Uganda and Congo at a young age. He began listening to various artists from Blade Brown, to Skepta, Future, and Lil Wayne. Once he started releasing music in 2015, he continued to make a name for himself for nearly a decade by blending a wide array of genres from hip-hop to trap music and modeling for numerous men’s streetwear and high-end fashion brands.

About Lancey Foux
Lancey Foux was born in Uganda and raised in East London. Once he picked up a mic, he started releasing music and didn’t stop, beginning with Pink, First Day At Nursery, and Pink II. In 2019, he broke into the global conversation with FRIEND OR FOUX highlighted by “INDIA,” “DREAM,” and “GHETTO YOUT.” The momentum increased on FIRST DEGREE, which he laced with bangers such as “WHAT U WANT” [feat. Skepta] and “Don’t TALK.” Kanye West invited him into the headline-making rollout of Donda as Playboi Carti and others expressed support online. Simultaneously, he appeared as a model for Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Rhude, Mulberry, MISBHV, Jordan, and Trapstar, to name a few.
In 2021, Lancey dropped his mixtape, LIVE.EVIL, a darkly lyrical 7-song journey. “‘Live’ means to live in the purest form and ‘Evil’ is the other side of it. He followed the next year with the release of his album, LIFE IN HELL. According to Lancey, LIFE IN HELL was a brutally honest message about modern day life. Last year, Lancey released his latest album, BACK2DATRAP. Packed with 12 songs, BACK2DATRAP offers a variety of Lancey’s unique vocals/bars and special feature from Sexyy Red on the track, “MMM HMM.” This album proved that Lancey is one of the most promising and exciting artists in the UK right now.
