(Los Angeles, CA – November 10th, 2021) – Mills, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and troubadour, releases the final EP of his Thoughts trilogy, Final Thoughts via Keep Cool/RCA Records. Listen HERE. The EP features previously released tracks “All We Have,” “Five N’ Dime” and “The Store” along with new tracks “This Town,” “White Horses,” “Born N’ Raised,” “It’s About Time” and “Downsize.”
Mills says, “”Final Thoughts” is the last installment to the EP Trilogy “Thoughts” – I had the idea for this when I was 18 and 3 years later it comes to fruition. My goal with this project is to close the chapter of showing everybody the wide array of styles of music I make, and transition to my debut album, leaving you to only wonder what it will sound like. “Final Thoughts” is a mature self-reflection on my first time making a home out of some place new. I hope this music can resonate with the listener at a time they need it, and that it can help bring a valuable message to the human experience.”
Last month, Mills played a run of shows supporting Peach Tree Rascals on their sold out “I Can’t Wait Tour.”
Born and raised in Bowling Green, KY, and having spent time in both Nashville and Los Angeles, Mills’ southern influences have been brightened by the Los Angeles sun, resulting in buoyant melodies tinged with nostalgia. With his poetic storytelling and distinctive harmonies that evoke the 1970s era of Laurel Canyon, 21-year-old Mills emerges as a troubadour for the modern age, vividly spinning tales of young love, happiness and heartbreak. Earlier this year, Mills released his EP Train of Thoughts featuring his critically acclaimed song “Hollow” which Billboard said ““Hollow” is sun-kissed singer-songwriter music, with a beautifully loping hook that gains texture as the harmonies fully arrive.” while The Interns called it “…a sweet spot between John Mayer and Harry Style.”
