[Los Angeles, CA – November 9, 2023] Today, the next generation global rookie group RIIZE makes their English-language debut with “Get A Guitar (English Version),” out now via SM Entertainment/RCA Records – listen HERE and watch the lyric video HERE.
On the single, RIIZE says, “’Get A Guitar’ is truly a special song to the members as it is a song that contains our unique team color and the process of us gaining musical inspiration.” They added, “As the Korean version has been receiving a lot of love since the release, we hope that fans all over the world like the English version as well.”
The groovy earworm track expresses the love and excitement of playing music with someone else, and the feelings of joy and freedom that transcend in all music experiences. The single comes after their recently released “Talk Saxy,” a funky dance single that showcases their range, the original release of “Get A Guitar,” and its b-side track “Memories,” a melodic composition about fresh memories and beginnings. With these releases, the group has introduced their distinctive ‘emotional pop’ sound, which expresses various feelings through their songs, aiming to evoke empathy from audiences everywhere.
RIIZE – made up of SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SEUNGHAN, SOHEE, and ANTON – is already taking the industry by storm with the release of their debut single “Get A Guitar,” they announced their singing with US label RCA Records and became a ‘million-seller’ in the first week of debut.
They’ve hit #1 on iTunes Top Songs Chart in 7 regions and ranked within Top 10 in 20 regions worldwide. In just over 2 months, the group’s official YouTube channel hit 100 million cumulative views on November 6th – not including their official music videos.
