Today, the next generation global rookie group RIIZE shares their long-awaited single “Siren” out now via SM Entertainment/RCA Records – listen HERE.
Before their official debut in 2023, RIIZE surprised fans with a one-minute performance video of “Siren,” instantly captivating viewers with their powerful performance that both mesmerized and stirred up a sense of challenge; thereby making a bold statement and gaining recognition. In their “Best of K-Pop in 2023” feature, NYLON listed “Siren” as the Most Un-TikTokable Choreography of the year.
Utilizing a boom bap-style drum effect and intense, 90’s hip-hop influenced bass riffs, “Siren” offers a sense of nostalgia and showcases a distinct facet of RIIZE’s unique musical style and ‘emotional pop’ genre. Much like each member’s own fierce determination, the single’s lyricism expresses the group’s distinctive charm and captivating energy.
Up next, RIIZE can be seen in a total of 9 regions around the world for their first fan-con tour, RIIZING DAY. The tour will start in Seoul on May 4th with a stop at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on May 20th. The event will focus on interactions with fans and be filled with games, music, and performances.
