LOS ANGELES, CA (July 19, 2022) – Today, rapper and hitmaker Saucy Santana releases the music video for his hit single “Booty” featuring labelmate Latto. Watch it HERE.
The playful visual for “Booty” is a colorful blend of cheeky visuals, with Santana and Latto taking over a local block party. Directed by Jake Wilson with choreography by Sean Bankhead, the video celebrates booties in all shapes and sizes, featuring guest cameos from Nikita Dragun, Kornbread, Julian Burzynski, Markell Washington, Cristian Dennis, Tyshon Lawrence, Keegan Whicker, Kelechi, and more. The video made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop, BET Jams, BET Hip Hop and on the Paramount Times Square billboards.
Out now via RCA Records, “Booty” has become an undisputed song of the summer, with The New York Timescalling the single “exuberant” and Rolling Stone praising it as “yet another earworm on [Saucy Santana’s] path to stardom.” NPR also praised the song as one of their ‘Favorite Songs of 2022 (So Far)’, noting “Saucy Santana is no stranger to bold choices paying off – and ‘Booty’ is no exception.”
The release of “Booty” is the latest in Santana’s unstoppable run, this June alone gracing the covers of Teen Vogue, PAPER, V Magazine, and XXL as part of their 2022 Freshman Class list. Previously supporting Latto on her nationwide 777 Tour, Santana also performed with Madonna for a special remix of “Material Girl” for Pride Month in NYC in addition to a breakout performance at the 2022 BET Awards Pre-Show.
