SOS #1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200 CHART FOR FOUR CONSECUTIVE WEEKS
[New York, NY – January 13, 2023] Following the release of the action-packed music video for “Kill Bill,” today, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Grammy award-winning recording artist SZA releases a 4- track bundle for her #1 Global 200 hit song. In the Christian Breslauer-directed visual, which features a cameo from actress Vivica A. Fox, SZA plays the protagonist seeking revenge from an unscrupulous lover. Click here to watch the video that was trending #1 on YouTube.
In addition to owning the #1 spot on Billboard’s Global 200 this week, “Kill Bill” claims the #1 spot on several Apple Music and Spotify charts globally and #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Kill Bill” is also the #1 most added song at both Top 40 and Rhythm radio and #3 at Urban.
The genre-blending SOS still rules the Billboard 200 chart with four consecutive weeks at #1, the first album by a woman to do so since Adele’s 30 and the first R&B* album by a woman to accomplish this feat in nearly 30 years. The release of the “Kill Bill” bundle follows the January 5 release of two new digital versions of SOS which included bonus tracks “PSA” and a solo version of “Open Arms” via Top Dawg Entertainment’s webstore.
